WATCH | Roger Federer produces vintage "banana winner" against Milos Raonic

When Roger Federer plays with that untouchable natural talent, that he has in abundance, all fans can do is sit back and watch the 35-year-old weave his magic. Against Milos Raonic, Federer was at his ruthless best and in the third set capped off a brilliant performance with a vintage "banana shot".
Trailing 3-4 in the tie-breaker of the third set, Raonic, serving from the AD court, put in a high serve towards Federer's backhand. The Swiss maestro calmly sliced the ball back to the Canadian's backhand, who responded with a slice of his own down the line.
Raonic realized that Federer was scampering across the baseline to get to the ball and approached the net to cut off the passing shot. However, Federer had something special up his sleeve as he curled the ball around the Canadian to take the lead in the tie-breaker.
A dejected looking Raonic couldn't help but ask for a review. However, the replays didn't come to the 26-year-old's help as they suggested that the ball had not just caught the line but bounced right on top of it.
The shot was just the cherry on the top after a performance that was similar to the ones in the 18-time Grand Slam winner's prime. Not only did Federer win an astonishing 90% of his first serves, he also won 82% of his net points along with 46 winners in a match he won 6-4, 6-2, 7-6. Federer will now face Tomas Berdych in the Wimbledon semi-final on Friday as he aims to become the first man to win the Championship eight times.
