French Open 2017 | Rafael Nadal beats Stan Wawrinka to achieve “La Decima”
Rafael Nadal has become the first male player in history to win 10 titles at a single Grand Slam when he beat Stanislas Wawrinka 6-2, 6-3, 6-1 in the French Open final today. In a dominant display, Nadal had just 12 unforced errors across the three sets to go along with his 27 winners.

Just like he had done in the second set, Nadal broke Wawrinka early to take a lead in the very first game. He went on to hold his serve to edge closer to the historic 10th title at Roland Garros. After holding his serve rather comfortably, the 32-year-old Swiss took a 30-0 lead in the next game, only to see his opponent win four of the next five points to take the game.
