Roger Federer might be on top of the world after winning the Men’s Singles in Australian Open, but he is yet to cover plenty of ground before he becomes the World No. 1 again. And Rafael Nadal, who is currently sitting atop the ATP rankings, has vowed to crush Federer’s hopes of overtaking him.

The Spaniard seemed pretty confident that he has still got what it takes to outplay his biggest rival, despite the injury he sustained at the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. However, what made this even more surprising was that he had done the same back in 2015.

The 31-year-old has confirmed that he would be participating in the Queen’s warm-up tournament, celebrating his 10th year anniversary of winning in 2008. Describing it as a great memory to ponder on, Nadal implied that it’ll be his inspiration to reign supreme in the upcoming Wimbledon on July.

The 2017 US Open champion didn’t play in the Queen’s Club Championships last year which was also a disappointing year for him after being defeated by Gilles Muller. However, Nadal has returned strong and has looked more prepared than ever in chasing another championship.  It’s is also worth noting that the Spaniard has played his best in Wimbledon every time he participated at Queen’s.

Many have stated it as a coincidence though it's easy to predict especially when all the amount of preparedness gives him an edge in the Championships. With this, it's safe to expect that if ever he won the Queen's, he would be most likely to lead to another win at the Wimbledon.

Apart from that, Nadal has also revealed his plans of participating in the Mexican Open that’ll run from Feb 26 to March 3. Andy Murray has also been reportedly eyeing a return to play in the Queen’s., which will be his first tournament since his hip surgery last month.

Getting back to this year’s Wimbledon, the betting game has contradicted the ATP rankings, where Nadal is way down the line with his 17/2 odds at the fourth spot. However, it hardly comes as a surprise given his leg injury from the Australian Open, which would make punters think twice.

Meanwhile, his rival, Roger Federer, is expectantly at the top spot with 15/8 odds after his Australian Open exploits. This just proves that the 2018 Wimbledon free bets and betting tips are based simply on real-time facts and happenings, making the betting game even more exciting.

Then there’s Djokovic, who is now trailing him at the second spot with 9/2 odds. Former Wimbledon champion, Andy Murray, sits next at 11/2, with Nadal succeeding him.  He is followed by Cilic with 12/1 and Raonic at 13/1.

With these being said, there’s no doubt that the 2018 Wimbledon will be a very interesting tournament to see. We can only hope that everyone avoids their injuries, especially Rafael Nadal, who looks thirstier than ever in getting that golden Wimbledon trophy.
