NBA all set to organise two-day selection camp in India for Junior Championships

The National Basketball Association revealed on Saturday that they will hold a two-day selection camp for the NBA Junior Championship which will feature 20 boys and 20 girls from the Reliance Foundation junior NBA program. The tournament is set to be held from August 6 onwards in Florida.

The National Basketball Association will be organising a Junior NBA Global Championship Selection Camp in India in the coming days. The two-day basketball camp will feature 20 boys and 20 girls from the Reliance Foundation Junior NBA program.

This will offer the Indian youngsters, and opportunity to represent India at the Junior NBA Global Championship which is to be held in Florida. The youth basketball tournament for the top 13 and 14-year-old boys and girls will be held from August 6 onwards at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World near Orlando, Florida.

The Junior NBA Global Championship India Selection Camp will be held April 29-30 at The NBA Academy India. The camp will feature a total of 40 participants from the Reliance Foundation Junior NBA Skills Challenges, City Competitions and National Finals. The winners of the US and international nations will play in the global championship games on August 11. More than 300 boys and girls from 35 countries participated in the inaugural Junior NBA Global Championship last year in August.
