Arjun Tendulkar, Sachin Tendulkar's son, was seen preparing the Indian women's team to face the English bowlers, on Sunday, at Lords in the World Cup final. The Indian team defeated defending champions Australia in the semi-finals of the tournament to enter the final of the prestigious event.

The Indian women's team entered the final of the Women's World Cup after a span of 12 years on Thursday defeating Australia by a margin of 36 runs. Batting first, India posted a commendable total of 281 in the allotted 42 overs riding on Harmanpreet Kaur's explosive 115-ball 171. In response, Australia lost three wickets in quick succession that put the defending champions on the back foot. However, a resurgent Aussie middle order tried to claw their way back into the game but eventually failed paving way for India's second Women's World Cup final appearance.

On Saturday, the Indian women's cricket team were seen sweating it out in the nets, leaving no stone unturned heading into the finals against hosts England. Arjun Tendulkar, who has developed into a specialist net bowler was seen bowling to Veda Krishnamurthy in a bid to prepare the batswoman for playing the English bowlers in the final. Krishnamurthy comfortably drove Tendulkar's delivery straight back to him.

India started their campaign against England defeating the hosts by 35 runs and then went on to register consecutive wins against West Indies, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan before losing to South Africa and Australia. The Indian team then overcame New Zealand in the virtual quarterfinal to go into the semi-finals of the tournament.

However, India are facing an injury scare on the eve of the finals as star batswoman Harmanpreet Kaur hurt her right shoulder while practicing in the nets.

Meanwhile, Indian skipper Mithali Raj believes that the middle order batswoman would recover in time to feature in the finals on Sunday which if fails to happen would be a huge blow for the Indian team.
