Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Billy Stanlake has been ruled out of the remainder of this IPL season with a fractured finger. The 23-year-old quick from Queensland, who has played four games in this season, has suffered a fracture on his little finger on the right hand and will be replaced soon.

This IPL season has been plagued with a number of injuries. A lot of overseas fast bowlers have dominated that injury list and have been ruled out of the season and the latest to be ruled out is Billy Stanlake due to a fractured finger.

Stanlake, who is 6 foot 7 inches tall, was bought at his base price of Rs 50 lakh by Sunrisers Hyderabad and played four games this season. He has been one of SRH’s lead bowlers where he has picked up 5 wickets.

SRH are already without the services of skipper David Warner who has been banned for 12 months by Cricket Australia. Alex Hales was named as the Australian left-hander’s replacement. As of now, SRH have not named any replacement for Stanlake, who made a very good pair with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and stepped up to fill in when the Indian pacer was out with a sore back.

However, the Hyderabad-based side have a good pace attack and have filled their side with the likes of good Indian pacers and also have Chris Jordan and Carlos Brathwaite in the ranks.
