Start Law has stated that India has the numero uno position in the Test format for a particular reason and West Indies will have to play good cricket to beat them. Last time India hosted WI the tour was embroiled in controversy due to payment issues between Cricket WI and its players.

West Indies cricket team has been a pale shadow of their past in the last decade or so which is reflected by their ICC test ranking of eight in the longer format of the game. The constant tussle between the board and its players on the payment issue is not helping them either. But, putting all the bad performances and controversies behind they are ready to tour India and on the same lines, the twitter handle of WI Cricket Board shared a video of the team coach Stuart Law.

"Our top six are going to stick their hand up and score the big runs, they are capable of doing so. If we can put runs on the board we can create pressure by giving the bowlers something to work," Law said in the video.

The Queenslander who represented Australia in more than 50 One Day Internationals also said that if they pressurise India enough, the Indian team will make a mistake and then they can capitalise on those mistakes.

"Having said, India aren't going to be easy. They are the no.1 Test team in the world for a particular reason, that’s because they are very good. We have to play really well to not only get into the contest but also we can pressure them into mistakes," Law said.

"We are going there to compete, we are going to keep fighting till the very end. Just never know, what can happen."

India will host the young West Indian side for two Tests, five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International matches starting from the Test matches early next month.
