The official broadcasters of Pakistan Super League in India – DSport - has decided to suspend the live coverage of the league in India after the Pulwama terror attack. The PSL’s 2019 edition started on Thursday with the first game between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United in Dubai.

After at least 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama in one of the deadliest terror attacks on February 14, there have been a lot of rants against Pakistan and the cricket league is latest to come under the scanner. Many people have taken on the social networking sites to put up posts against the Pakistan Super League. Many people condemned the attack and the Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM)

DSport, the official broadcaster for PSL matches in India has now decided to stop the telecast of the games in the country with immediate effect.

According to reports, the channel was expected to stop the live coverage from Friday but for some reasons they were not able to do so. However, they pulled back from the coverage from the third day of the league yesterday.

"We've suspended the broadcast," a channel official told Mumbai Mirror.

The PSL’s 2019 edition is the fourth season of the league and it started on Thursday with the first game between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United in Dubai.
