KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya have picked up Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the “better captain” in Indian cricket. Rahul chose Dhoni because of his achievements in international cricket while according to the all-rounder it was Dhoni under whom he made his debut in limited-overs internationals.

Many Indian players have always hailed MS Dhoni and his captaincy in international cricket. The former India skipper has the record of winning the 50-over World Cup, 20-over World Cup and ICC Champions Trophy. The Indian team became the No. 1 Test side under his captaincy as well and the wicketkeeper-batsman is considered as one of the finest captains in Indian cricket.

Recently, youngsters KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya heaped praises on the former skipper during a popular TV show Koffee with Karan. Pandya credited Dhoni as the former made his debut under his captaincy in international cricket.

"MS Dhoni (is the better captain) because I made my debut and it was fantastic,” replied Pandya after Karan Johar, the host of the show, asked him.

"In terms of achievement, yes MS Dhoni," Rahul responded to the same question by the host.

Rahul called Kohli as a good prankster and the most romantic man in the Indian dressing room. The top-order batsman also added that the Indian skipper needs to calm down a bit and he is someone who always loves to work hard.

"I think Virat. He needs to calm down. I keep telling him, he's just, he has never had a holiday mode. He's always like 'work, work, work'," Rahul added.
