While MS Dhoni has made a name for himself with his immense contribution behind the stumps for India, for a change, he couldn’t triumph the Shreyas Iyer challenge. After Dhoni loudly appealed for a stumping, Iyer laughed it off and had the last laugh when the third umpire sided with the Delhi man.

However, Iyer knew that he was safe and his body language gestured that he was fine. But he didn't stop there. The Delhi skipper laughed off Dhoni’s appeal even before the replay came on the giant screen. The last laugh was awaited as everyone had their eyes fixed on the screen.
Replays suggested that the front foot was alright and the chance of LBW was out of the equation, but at the same time, Iyer had taken his leg up for a second. But the angle was very evident when Dhoni had attempted the stumping and it was clear that his leg was behind the crease when the bails came off. Iyer went back to his crease to face the next ball, but not before going 1-0 up against his counterpart.
