Few players are known for their flamboyant act and David Miller is certainly one of them with the bat in hand. The Proteas veteran was at his best with the willow against Pakistan during the first T20I as he smoked one ball into the national highway outside the stadium at Kingsmead, Durban.

Heinrich Klaasen’s decision to bat first didn’t prove effective at the start for the hosts as Pakistan bowlers ran riot with the new ball. After losing three wickets in a 43-run powerplay, Miller pulled South Africa out of adversity with his incredible ball-striking, one of which captivated the fans outside the venue on the national highway.

The second ball of the eighth over saw Sufiyan Muqeem bowl a fuller one at the middle stump. Seeing the white cherry pitch right at the slot, the left-hander lunged forward and clobbered a slog sweep, sending the ball onto the rooftop of the venue. The ball landed on the roof and fell outside the stadium into the national highway, disrupting the transport system. An individual noticed the ball, and he ran to collect it but almost survived a car accident in the process, leaving the Twitterverse in murmurs.
