Colombo Strikers beat Jaffna Kings by nine wickets in Colombo. Jaffna Kings were put in to bat first and struggled to build momentum and were restricted to 109/8, largely due to Shadab Khan's four-wicket haul while Rahmanullah Gurbaz's explosive 57 off 33 balls helped Colombo secure victory.

Brief Score: CS 112/1 (9.5) [Gurbaz 57 (33), Waseem 35 (18); Madushan 1/26(4)] defeat JK 109/9 (20) [Viyaskanth 25 (34), Kusal 17 (11); Shadab 4/10(4)] by 9 wickets
After consecutive defeats, the Colombo Strikers won the toss and chose to field first against the Jaffna Kings in Colombo. This decision paid off as Binura Fernando took the wickets of Pathum Nissanka and Rilee Rossouw during the powerplay. The Kings' troubles continued when Kusal Mendis was dismissed by Thisara Perera in the fifth over, leaving the score at 29/3. The league leaders were in disarray as their captain, Charith Asalanka, fell to Shadab Khan in the seventh over. The Pakistani all-rounder struck again in the ninth over, claiming the wickets of Avishka Fernando and Fabian Allen on consecutive balls, reducing Jaffna to 49/6 in 8.4 overs. Shadab's dominance persisted as he took his fourth wicket, dismissing Dhananjaya de Silva in the 11th over. Jaffna's hopes dwindled further when Pramod Madhusan was removed by Matheesha Pathirana in the 14th over, with the score at 75/8. Nevertheless, a resilient 34-run partnership between Eshan Malinga and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth helped Jaffna reach a modest total of 109/8 in their 20 overs.

In reply, Colombo started brilliantly as Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Angelo Perera quickly reached 24/0 within the first two overs. However, Pramod Madushan broke the opening partnership by taking Perera's wicket in the third over. The match experienced a brief 10-minute rain delay in Colombo. After the interruption, Gurbaz and Muhammad Waseem resumed the chase, with Madushan bowling the fifth over. The pair maintained the momentum advancing the score to 73/1 in seven overs. Needing only 25 runs in the remaining 12 overs, the Strikers were well on their way to victory. Gurbaz's half-century off 30 balls and Waseem's impressive 35 off 18 deliveries secured the win for the Strikers, who triumphed by nine wickets in just 9.5 overs.
