Appreciation can significantly uplift a player's morale, and when it comes from the team's coach, it has an even greater impact. This was evident during the first Test between India and Bangladesh when Ravichandran Ashwin’s skilful execution led to a brilliant shot for a boundary.

India faced early setbacks with the bat, as captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed cheaply. The situation worsened when Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli also departed for low scores, leaving the team in a difficult position at 34/3 after nine overs. Despite the early blows, the left-handed duo of Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal brought some stability to the innings. However, with the subsequent wickets of Pant, KL Rahul, and Jaiswal, the onus shifted to Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin to guide India's innings forward. As Ashwin walked into the arena, he announced his arrival with a brilliant boundary. 

 

On the first ball of the 44th over, Nahid Rana delivered a back-of-a-length ball around off stump. The Indian batter judged the line and length with precision and stood tall as he expertly guided the red cherry towards backward point. The timing was flawless, and the ball sped across the field, hitting the boundary rope for a magnificent four. Gautam Gambhir, observing from the dugout, was impressed, in awe of Ashwin’s finesse. Social media buzzed with admiration, as Twitter lit up with praise for Ashwin's exquisite shot.
