ENG W vs PAK W | Twitter in awe as Diana Baig’s inswinging jaffa hits top of off stump to shock Tammy Beaumont
Bowlers often catch batters offguard with their guile and Diana Baig shocked England opener Tammy Beaumont in the Women’s ODI World Cup match in Colombo. The Pakistan pacer bowled an inswinging beauty that came in a long way to clip the bails on top of off stump after the batter shouldered arms.

In a bid to open their account in the ongoing Women’s ODI World Cup, Pakistan opted to bowl against England at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday. Pacer Diana Baig vindicated Fatima Sana’s call at the toss with a wicket in the second over of the game.
After starting off with a no-ball and conceding a boundary off the free hit, Baig came back with a stunning delivery to send back England opener Tammy Beaumont. The Pakistan pacer bowled a scrambled seam delivery that pitched on a length outside off before swinging in viciously.
A confident Beaumont shouldered arms as she felt her stumps were safe and the ball would go down to the wicketkeeper. But to her horror, the ball took a deviation off the seam and clipped off the bails on top of the off stump.
The opener was quick to realise her folly as the Pakistan players rushed to congratulate a pumped up Baig. Beaumont acknowledged the jaffa as she shook her head with a sheepish smile while walking back towards the dressing room.
Twitter was in awe as Baig provided an early breakthrough for Pakistan as the score read just 13.
Horrible
It would be horrible if rain deprives Pakistan of the opportunity to push for a win against England#WomensWorldCup2025

Close one
Just as Pakistan were about to close the innings an uninvited rain has arrive at Colombo, the longer it rains it will benefit England as of now it's been raining heavily fingers crossed 🤞 for rain to stop.

England 79/7 after 25 overs#HBKingBabarAzam
Rains goes away
Hoping the rain goes away quickly in Columbo though it doesn’t seem like it will go away quickly. Pakistan women are on top and would be really unlucky if England get away with a point here having said that we have been in similar territory before in this tournament particularly…
