Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Opens Up on Special Moment of Receiving Indian Jersey
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is now gearing up for his T20I debut for the Indian team. The team has left for the two match T20I series against Ireland, as Sooryavanshi gets his maiden call up. He has reacted to the moment where he received his first ever Indian jersey, ahead of the series.
The Indian team has its T20I side growing as much as it can, with another explosive batter being added to the list. After an impressive batting performance in the IPL and Under-19 tournaments, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has finally gotten his chance to make it to the Indian team. He is now the youngest to play for India, overtaking Sachin Tendulkar.
He also posted a selfie which he took with Abhishek Sharma in the flight. And in just a few days, the Indian fans might also see both of them batting together for the Indian cricket team. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has also reacted to the moment when he received his maiden call up for the Indian team and the jersey.
The BCCI posted a video for the same. Vaibhav said, “I have no words to explain. The reason I picked up the cricket bat from the first day and went to the ground to practice, that dream has been fulfilled. The main step is complete now. I cannot explain this in words. It felt like a dream. The moment I looked at the t-shirt, I was so happy and smiling. Sometimes, when something that you think won't happen happens to you, you cannot react, and my reaction was the same.”
