Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will be getting some special arrangements for the series against Ireland and England. Being under 16, he will be having a separate dressing room from the Indian team. Still, he will be able to join the team's dressing room for discussion and meetings.

Why Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Will Have Special Provisions During the Ireland Tour.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is all set to make his debut for the Indian team in the UK tour. It all begins tomorrow with the first T20I against Ireland, where some special arrangements will be made for the young talent. For the seven T20Is, two against Ireland and five against England, he will be given a special dressing room.

This is due to the fact that the England and Wales Cricket Board is organising these games. And the cricket board views Vaibhav Sooryavanshi as a minor. Due to this reason, he will not be allowed to share the dressing room with the Indian team across all the games in this United Kingdom tour.

This rule might be surprising, but it has been a part of several sports in the United Kingdom. The safeguarding policy of the ECB prohibits players under the age of 16 from participating in the same dressing room with the adult players for changing rooms and showering facilities.

Our Take

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's debut for the Indian team is set to be historic. Not only is he set to be India's youngest player to make a debut if he plays tomorrow, he is also set to have some special arrangements in this tour. Vaibhav has already shown a lot of promise to the Indian selectors with his performances, and now it remains to be seen whether he gets to play in the first T20I or not.
