Delhi Dynamos are on a hot streak right now as they continued to bolster their squad with two more signings in the form of mid-fielder Bikramjit Singh and defender Rana Gharami for this year’s ISL season. Last week, the Dynamos announced the signing of former Kerala Blaster’s FC player Siam Hanghal.

The 2019 season of the Indian Super League will look to build upon the strong presence it demanded last year after Chennaiyin FC lifted the trophy as they beat Bengaluru FC 3-2 in the finals. North Indian Club - Delhi Dynamos FC ended the tournament at the eighth position as they won just five of their 18 games during the season.

The Dynamos’ management have looked to bolster their squad after last year’s disappointment as they already brought in talented midfielder Siam Hanghal from Kerala Blasters FC last week.

They have further added midfielder Bikramjit Singh and defender Rana Gharami on long-term deals to their squad as was announced yesterday. Bikramjit will leave champions Chennaiyin FC, while Rana will end his association with Mohun Bagan who finished third in the I-League last season.

Bikramjit began his career with the Pailan Arrows in 2010 before he moved to Churchill Brothers and guided the Goan club to an I-League title in 2012 and then a Federation Cup in the 2013-14 season. In the ISL, Bikramjit played for FC Goa in the first two editions of the tournament before he was picked up by Atletico de Kolkata where he was part of the title-winning squad.

“This is a club which is very close to my heart as I feel at home here. Dynamos have a strong group of players in the squad and I am really excited and looking forward to contributing as much as I can. I’ve had two really successful ISL seasons and I want to make it three in a row by helping Delhi win their first title,” said Bikramjit to PTI.

Gharami starred in West Bengal’s Santosh Trophy triumph in 2016-17 and also won the Sikkim Gold Cup last year with Mohun Bagan.

“I am looking forward to my first ISL season. I’ve had a strong season with Mohun Bagan in the I-League as well as the Super Cup last season, but I want to go one better and win the titles this time around,” said Rana.
