Chennaiyin FC has signed Mumbai-born winger Farukh Choudhary ahead of the forthcoming 2023-24 season. The 26-year-old became the seventh signing for the Marina Machans this season.

Chennaiyin FC have roped in talented goalkeeper Prateek Kumar Singh and defender Sachu Siby to bolster the team’s defence ahead of the upcoming season. This will be the first outing in the ISL for both youngsters who have shown great promise and potential in the domestic circuit.

Chennaiyin FC produced a clinical 2-0 victory over NEROCA FC in their final Group C game at Imphal in the Durand Cup to book their place in quarters. Midfielders Anirudh Thapa and Vafa Hakhamaneshi scored in each half to take Chennaiyin FC past the hosts and into the knockout stage.

Jamshedpur FC finished their Durand Cup campaign on a strong note with a 2-1 win over Indian Air Force FT in Kolkata on Thursday. A goal from Piush gave Jamshedpur the lead but the armed forces side pushed back with an equaliser after a goal from Somananda in the closing stages of the first half.
