Inter Milan and Fiorentina are allegedly working on a deal involving Federico Chiesa, in an attempt to block the transfer to current Italian champions Juventus. The war between both clubs continues, as they both were interested in Romelu Lukaku, with the Nerazzurri winning the race.

According to Football Italia, the Vecchia Signora had an agreement with Fiorentina for Chiesa, with the player and his representatives keen on a move to Turin. However, the tables have turned, and Inter Milan is ready to hijack the move for the Italian wonderkid, offering close to €70 million to his current club.

The 21-year-old is likely to leave Artemio Franchi this summer, La Viola's new owner Rocco Commisso is blocking all proposals in an attempt to keep the player one more year.

With Juventus leading the race to land the talented youngster, Fiorentina and Inter are working secretly on a deal that would send Federico Chiesa back to Milan. The move could very well materialize, but it remains to be seen if the player's will is to play under Antonio Conte and his staff or Maurizio Sarri and Cristiano Ronaldo.

More developments should surge in the next few days about Chiesa's possible destination.
