Reports | Manchester City target Mikel Oyarzabal to replace Leroy Sane
Manchester City have informed La Liga side Real Sociedad that they are ready to pay Mikel Oyarzabal's release clause this summer. The Cityzens believe that the Spaniard is the man to replace Leroy Sane, with the Germanās future at the Etihad still uncertain amid rumours of a move to Bayern Munich.
Manchester City star Leroy Sane has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, and while Pep Guardiola has revealed that he is not concerned, things have finally heated up. Bayern manager Niko Kovac has revealed that he is very confident that the Bundesliga Champions will be able to bring Sane back to the Premier League.

"We will do everything to realise this transfer."Ā That would see Manchester City lose a key star and Spanish news outlet the AS has reported that to replace the German, the Premier League Champions see Mikel Oyarzabal as the top answer.
The Real Sociedad man does have a ā¬75 million release clause to his name but Football Espana has added that City are more than willing to pay that fee. AS further adds that City have contacted the playerās agents/representatives to let them know of their plans to activate his release clause.
The 22-year-old did recently sign a new deal with Real Sociedad but that is of no concern to Manchester City, as they are willing to pump up Oyarzabal's wages either way.
