Manchester United suffered a shocking defeat in their previous Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Wolves continued their strong form under the new leader Vitor Pereira, as the team won the game 2-0, receiving a significant push in the Premier League standings.

But as the second half started, Manchester United suffered a big blow as their captain Bruno Fernandes was again sent off after receiving a yellow card.
