Romano Reveals the Latest on Ramos' Potential Return to Real Madrid

Being a player for Real Madrid for almost 16 years, Sergio Ramos could once again be seen wearing the iconic white jersey. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, while Ramos would love to return to the club, there have been no negotiations to make that happen. The 38-year-old, who left Sevilla in the summer, is still keeping himself fit and has expressed his desire to rejoin his former club if given the opportunity.

However, the relationship between Ramos and Real Madrid, especially with president Florentino Perez, remains strained after his 2021 move to PSG. Spanish media have reported that the club’s board has unanimously disapproved of the idea of bringing Ramos back, which makes an immediate return unlikely. In the X post, he stated:

“No contacts are taking place between Real Madrid and Sergio Ramos over a possible return to the club as a free agent. Ramos would be open and happy to return in case of Real's call, he loves Real Madrid, but no talks so far.”
