Juventus and Club Brugge went against each other in a thriller at the UEFA Champions League but the match unfortunately ended up in a draw. This further angered Thiago Motta to a great extent, as he continued saying that the team had many expectations from the strikers in the following game.
After their 2-0 win over Inter Milan in Serie A, their confidence boosted but the draw against Club Brugge is now making them focus on the attack. The team was able to dominate with possession but unfortunately, they were not able to get any real scoring opportunities in the match.
Thiago Motta said,“All the teams who have come here had problems against a side that defends very well and clams up. We didn’t suffer, but we also didn’t create enough to win the match. It’s a pity because we could’ve done better this evening, with all due respect for this team which had in other games scored on the counter-attack and then defended well to avoid letting their opponents back into the match.”
Following this match, Juventus still stood at the 14th spot in the standings with 12 points and Club Brugge is just one point behind them at the 17th spot.
