Saurav Ghosal moves to second round of World Squash Championships
Indian No.1 Saurav Ghosal defeated Australia’s World No. 20 Ryan Cuskelly 7-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-3 to earn an entry into the second round of PSA Men’s World Championship 2015 in Bellevue, Washington on Sunday.

With the match levelled at one-all, Ghosal stepped up his game to claim the third game 11 – 7, through a series of lets and strokes. Ghosal showed his superiority in the fourth game by moving his opponent into all four corners of the court to claim the game 11 – 3 and win the match 3 – 1.
“I managed to impose my game just marginally better than Ryan did today. I’m glad to win this match. It’s a very good win because, with the squash he’s playing, he is up there with the top 10 guys so I’m happy”, Ghosal told PSA World Tour website.
Ghosal will meet former World No.1 James Willstrop in the second round. With both players being coached by James Willstrop’s father Malcolm, the match is set to be an intriguing encounter.
