Parupalli Kashyap and World No. 3 Jan Jorgensen involve in funny banter about playing cricket with Sachin
Danish Badminton star Jan O. Jorgensen and Indian ace Parupalli Kashyap have been involved in a funny banter on Twitter, where the former expressed his desire to play cricket with Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin is promoting the Bengaluru Blasters franchise for the PBL season that begins on January 1.
The 2017 edition of the Premier Badminton League begins on the first day of the new year, and the excitement around the event so far has been the much-anticipated replay of the Olympic final, between PV Sindhu and Carolina Marin. The extra element this year is Sachin Tendulkar. The cricket legend, who has been involved in the sports leagues across cricket and football so far, has forayed into badminton as well and is promoting the Bengaluru franchise. He had picked up a stake in the team earlier this year.
The official Twitter handle sent out a video showing Sachin promoting the event.

Some unexpected events unfolded after that as World No. 3 Jan o Jorgensen expressed his desire to meet Sachin when he comes to India for the event. In response, Indian star and former World top-ten player Parupalli Kashyap promised him that he would try to arrange a meeting but wondered how he knew so much about cricket while being from Denmark. It turned out Jorgensen is a master of many trades.
