Twitter reacts as Pandya and Shami tear the Sri Lankan bowling apart
India asserted their authority over Sri Lanka in the first Test as after scoring 600 runs in the first innings, they left Sri Lanka reeling at 154/5 at stumps. Earlier, Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami tore the Lankan bowling apart as they put on a 62-run stand that helped the visitors reach 600.

And Pujara started the day off by getting to his 6th 150. What have we done to deserve you? _/\_

A Frustrated Indian..
If Hardik Pandya is considered a No.8 bat, then on a pitch that is expected to take turn, wouldn't it have been better to go with Kuldeep?

But Pandya responded in style

Pandya certainly made sure that this didn't happen :D

An impressive display from the SL pacers... Or maybe not.
9 wickets to pace and just one to spin. It is first time that Sri Lanka pacers have accounted for 9 wickets in a Test inns at Galle. #SLvInd

The review was so bad that even the 3rd Umpire trolled SL for it
"That doesn't look like a great review, does it?"

Looks like Abhinav Mukund came to SL just to do this
Upul Tharanga in his previous Test was run out for backing up. Today he is out cos his bat bounced up. He was never run out in Tests before.
