IPL 2020 | Ankit Rajpoot set to play for Rajasthan Royals; Dhawal Kulkarni returns to Mumbai Indians

Kings XI Punjab have traded Ankit Rajpoot to the Rajasthan Royals on the penultimate day of the IPL transfer window. With Ravichandran Ashwin already traded to Delhi Capitals and the window set to close on November 14, teams and quickly making their moves to get their trades done.

After trading their captain, KIngs XI Punjab have also traded another player in the form of Ankit Rajpoot who will feature for the Rajasthan Royals in the 13th Edition of the Indian Premier League while explosive all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham goes the other way and will play for the Punjab-based franchise.

Rajpoot has an impressive 22 wickets from 23 IPL matches and has featured for Kolkata Knight Riders too. His best figures were 5/14 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2018 edition of the IPL. He still remains the only uncapped player to take a five-wicket haul in the IPL.

Mumbai Indians having initially brought all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford from the Delhi Capitals have again traded Trent Boult in giving the likes of Beuran Hendricks and Adam Milne in return. The New Zealand pacer has played 2 seasons for the Delhi-based franchise and has 38 wickets from 33 IPL matches. Mumbai Indians have also traded Evin Lewis with Rajasthan Royals for Dhawal Kulkarni who makes his return to the Mumbai-based franchise.
