ā€ŒDisagreements on the cricket field are fairly common, but certain situations can escalate into heated exchanges. This was the case in the first Test match between India and Bangladesh, where Rishabh Pant and Litton Das were involved in a tense verbal confrontation leading to a fiery moment.Ā

Bangladesh's skipper won the toss and opted to bowl first on a dry Chennai pitch, a choice that proved effective as they dismissed Rohit Sharma in the sixth over. The pressure mounted when Shubman Gill fell for a duck, leaving India at 34/2 and bringing Virat Kohli to the crease with expectations high for him to stabilize the innings. However, Kohliā€™s tenure was brief as Hasan Mahmud claimed his wicket cheaply. The responsibility now fell on Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal to steer the innings forward.

During Indiaā€™s innings, a moment of tension arose between Litton Das and Rishabh Pant. On the third ball of the 16th over, Taskin Ahmed delivered a fuller ball, which Yashasvi Jaiswal hit wide of mid-on. As the players attempted a single, the ball was thrown to the strikerā€™s end, where Pant was positioned. The ball deflected off Pantā€™s leg, allowing him to complete the single. Litton Das, displeased with the way the run was taken, had a heated exchange with Pant, voicing his frustration. The incident quickly caught the attention of the cricketing community, sparking a frenzy on Twitter.
