IND vs BAN | Ashwin reigns supreme at home to steamroll Bangladesh and gain series lead
India beat Bangladesh comfortably by 280 runs in Chennai to gain 1-0 lead. Shakib Al Hasan and Najmul Hossain Shanto showed grit against the ruthless spell of Mohammed Siraj before falling to the spinners like nine pins highlighted by a Ravichandran Ashwin six-fer at his home in Chennai.
The overnight batters Shakib Al Hasan and Najmul Hossain Shanto were observative against Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jasprit Bumrah at the start. With the visitors at 233/9, it was just a matter of time before Jadeja cleaned up Hasan Mahmud to hand India a 1-0 lead in the series with a win margin of 280 runs.
