Even after having such a high run rate, they failed to top the charts for Indian pairs having the best run rate in 200+ run partnerships.
The top place being held in this record is by KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, in the 2023 World Cup. Both of them went on to score 208 runs for the team off just 128 balls for the fourth wicket, putting their run rate at 9.82 runs per over.
