Twitter Buzzes as Klaasen Dominates Orange Cap Standings
The Orange Cap race is heating up in the IPL 2026 season. Heinrich Klaasen has been the only player who consistently stood in the standings, as he has taken over the cap again. With SRH reaching the top of the table, Klaasen's batting form has played a crucial role.

Last night saw Sunrisers Hyderabad unleash its dominance in the IPL yet again. The team again managed to defeat Punjab Kings and this time they have managed to take the top spot in the standings. Whether it was Ishan Kishan leading the side or Pat Cummins, the performances have always remained up to the mark in this season.
Heinrich Klaasen has been one of the key reasons why the team has managed to be at the top spot. When the openers failed to perform, he stood there; when the openers gave a strong start, he stood there to continue the same momentum. This has also been the reason why Klaasen has consistently stood in the Orange Cap rankings for the team.
Even in the clash against Punjab Kings, he went on to score 69 runs off 43 balls, and won the Orange Cap again. In 11 matches, he has scored 494 runs for the team and remains a strong contender to take the Orange Cap.
Here's how Twitter has reacted to Klaasen getting the Orange Cap.
Best is Yet to Come
Honestly I don't think he's in his best form yet. He just playing safe now. In the process he makes bulk of runs. But the best is yet to come. You can see the real monster at the point where he decides not to play safe anymore.

We all have seen that he is mainly playing the role of an anchor in this tournament. And his best (surely as a finisher) is yet to come for the team.
Role of Ben
klassen is silently cooking bro I fear if he can play the role of ben.

Everyone knows the role Ben Cutting played for SRH in IPL 2016. And maybe it will be Klaasen playing the same role for them in the current season.
Thank Bumrah
We must thank Jasprit Bumrah to win India T20 WC against this monster. If Jassi wasn't playing that day, Klassen would have won the world cup for South Africa. Thank you Jasprit pic.twitter.com/KedH7Ov7zm

In the T20 World Cup 2024, Bumrah took the game away from the Proteas by taking Klaasen's wicket. Years later, we should still thank Bumrah for turning the game in India's favour.
