Reports | Arsenal agree terms with Juventus star Daniele Rugani
After a long search for a centre-back, Arsenal have found the player to lead their defense next season. Juventus star Daniele Rugani is Emery's choice to replace Laurent Koscielny, and personal terms have been agreed from both parties, with the Italian receiving €4 million per year in wages.
Arsenal are finally set to make a move to improve their defensive line with the addition of Daniele Rugani, according to the Daily Mail. The 25-year-old is waiting for both clubs to finalize the deal that will send him to the Emirates Stadium, in order to be the man to lead their defense. If he joins, it will most likely be on a two-year loan deal and not on a definitive transfer.
With Matthijs De Ligt coming in for Juventus, Rugani has lost his place in new manager Maurizio Sarri’s team sheet and has demanded a transfer so he could get more playing time. While La Vecchia Signora adding new players, Arsenal are selling, which gives the Italian international an opportunity to settle in with his new club.
There are a few hours left for English teams to make their final moves in the market and the London-based team must be quick to act if they want to secure Rugani's services.
