We need to go on run of wins, says Harry Kane

Tottenham had been named one of the title contenders by many analysts before the start of the season. The Spurs chairman made a big investment on this years' squad by acquiring Giovanni Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombélé, and Ryan Sessegnon, but despite that, they've not started the season as they wanted.

After a disappointing loss at home to Newcastle, Mauricio Pochettino's team looks to get back on track next weekend when they face their rival Arsenal FC. They had a stunning 80% ball possession but couldn't do much with it, as they didn't create major chances to score on Martin Dúbravka's goal.

Harry Kane was the first to express his frustrations over the bad result his team achieved against Newcastle, according to the Daily Mail, "As you're seeing from Manchester City and Liverpool there is no letting up from them."

"I said before the start of the season that if we could put a run together, get that momentum, maybe winning for two-three months on the spin without dropping any points, then that's what it's going to take. It's a disappointing start but there is a long way to go. It is disappointing that we haven't done that in only our second game. But there is still a long way to go, there are a lot of big games ahead of us," expressed Kane.

A huge test is coming already on Sunday as the team moves across the street to face the Gunners.
