The French woman was down and out in the quarterfinal. She somehow scraped into the top four. Then a loss i  the semi-final resigned her to the toughest challenge across archery -- taking on Koreans in successive one-on-one games.

I don't need to tell you who is the favourite in this encounter for the Bronze medal. Lisa Barbelin needs no reminder either. The French shooter has performed admirably in the event but crumbled when she came up against a Korean in the semi-final -- managing one TEN in three sets. She cannot afford to do that again if she wants to claim an unlikely medal.

How good have Korea been in Archery? There is no country in any other sport, maybe China in Table Tennis, that can come close to them. 

They might dominate the entire podium by the time the bronze medal game is done.

Whoever thought this would go to the bitter death, amirite? THere is little between the two here albeit it has been far from a perfect match for either. But the Koreans have built their archery legacy on the ability to rise to the occasion when the stakes and pressure is at its highest.

Hopefully that set was indicative of what is to come. Two titans going blow to blow with little to separate them. I an literally rubbing my hands in anticipation right now.
