Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik has admitted that she would definitely want someone to make a biopic on her life following the release of movie 'Dangal' based on the life of Geeta Phogat and her sisters. Sakshi also said that the Olympics win has increased her knowledge about wrestling.

“I would definitely want a biopic if someone wants to make it. If it encourages the sport then why not? It will be an inspiration for young grapplers," Sakshi Malik told PTI on Saturday.

"I don't have any such favourite actress to play the role. But if someone plans to make the movie, I will be glad," the Olympic bronze medallist added.

In another interview with ESPN.in on Saturday, Sakshi admitted that she is still not over the fact that she has secured a medal for the country.

"I've still not got over the fact that I've won a medal. This will never get old. Poore India meinsirf mere paas hai (Only I have one in all of India)," she said proudly.

Despite the medal win, the 24-year old feels that there is still room for improvement in her performances.

I still think of the bouts I had. I think: 'What a mistake I made.' I think how I could've wrestled differently and perhaps won it.

Sakshi feels that the Olympics were a huge learning experience and changed her way of thinking while taking part in bouts.

"Before I went to the Olympics, I think I just had beginners' knowledge. I had just 40% knowledge about wrestling. After the Olympics I realized how much more there's to learn. In the past my game was very simple: it would be attack, defence, counter. Now my brain starts to think how many possibilities there are. Even when I eventually leave wrestling, I don't know when I'll have proper knowledge of wrestling. It boosted my confidence tremendously. It has changed my mindset when I train and when I'm on the mat too," she explained the impact the medal win had on her game.

After a long five-month break, Sakshi returns back to the mat for Pro Wrestling League starting on Jan 3, which now demands her to get back to her strict wrestling diet.

Increasing stamina was the most difficult. Power remains stamina is the main problem. It takes time to recover

Speaking about how she enjoyed the freedom during this whole time, Sakshi said, "We ate everything during the felicitations. Now you've to restart a proper diet. I had to start watching my fats and carbs all over again. I had to prepare to start making weight all over again. It isn't as if cutting weight is best feeling."

There's been time when I would barely eat for three days, sometimes not even take a sip of water. But after winning the medal you want to go back to doing it all over again.

The 58kg pool of the Pro Wrestling League features Geeta Phogat among the Indians and also Tunisia's Marwa Amri, who won the bronze alongside Sakshi in Rio.

"We'll have to wrestle together but because the tournament is happening in Delhi, we'll be training together too. I'll have so many partners. I'll get a chance to train with the 48kg wrestlers and with the 53kg wrestlers as well," Sakshi said about her preparations for the competition.
