BCCI to decide on fate of fourth Test after HC hearing
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed today that it will take a call on whether to let Delhi host the fourth Test after the Delhi High Court's decision on the Delhi and District Cricket Association’s (DDCA) plea scheduled for Wednesday.
BCCI had given DDCA a deadline of 5pm on Tuesday to submit all the necessary clearances from the Delhi government departments to host the fourth and final Test between India and South Africa at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. DDCA had approached the Delhi High Court in a last ditch attempt to save the match.
This comes on the back of the recommendation by the three-member committee set up by the Delhi government to suspend the association with immediate effect.
