Albert TUTI Patriots clinched a 45-run win over Chepauk Super Gillies in the first game of the India Cements TN Premier League at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday. Dinesh Karthik (67*) and L. Balaji (2 for 26) were the key players in the 45-run win for the Patriots.

Earlier, Patriots had won the toss and had batted first. Though they got off to a steady start thanks to the opening duo of Kaushik Gandhi(24) and Washington Sundar(20), Chepauk skipper R. Satish accounted for both. Bowling his spell up-front, Satish finished with figures of 2 for 16.
Patriots skipper Karthik held the innings together and helped his side reach a competitive 164. His unbeaten 67 off 49 deliveries consisted of four sixes and three boundaries.
