Yuvraj Singh to dazzle in reel life after real life : US firm to make documentary on the star
Indian middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh’s life story is all set to arrive in the form of a documentary with a United States-based firm producing the film on the 2011 World Cup hero. As per reports, the documentary will be produced by the Los Angeles-based firm Apex Entertainment.
After his heroics on the field smashing bowlers to all parts of the boundary, the elegant left-hander will be seen in a documentary soon, according to a report in the Times of India. Los Angeles-based firm Apex Entertainment, which has produced a long list of premier sports movies including Million Dollar Arm (2014), will produce the documentary that will be based on Yuvraj Singh’s life.
Mark Ciardi, president and co-founder of Apex Entertainment, confirmed the news about the documentary in an interaction to the Times of India.
"I have always believed in our company's philosophy of bringing aspirational stories from the world to characters who overcome adversity stories that inspire minds. Yuvraj's story is not just a cricket story, it's a human interest story,” Ciardi said.
He also added that “Yuvraj is an inspiration to billion Indians and cricket fans” after battling cancer and emerging victorious to return to the national team fold.
"People like to watch greatness. He is an inspiration to a billion Indians and cricket fans globally, the way he faced odds in his life and career, the way he survived cancer and the way he fought back to earn his place in the Indian team. His story is worth telling and that's why we are extremely thrilled to have got this chance, “Ciardi added.

The documentary on Yuvraj will be the third film on an Indian cricketer in recent times, with the biopics on MS Dhoni and Mohammad Azharuddin slated to release this year.
