The Board of Control for Cricket in India President Anurag Thakur has confirmed that the governing body will hold a meeting in September, which will also be attended by head coach Anil Kumble, where they will decide on the appointment of bowling, batting, fielding, and other support staffs.

"We will decide on the appointment of the coaches for bowling, batting and fielding and other support staff at the meeting (in September)," Anurag Thakur, who was in Coimbatore to attend a yoga programme, was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

The appointments will come just in time for New Zealand's tour of India in October before England arrives in the nation for a three-month long tour.

Thakur has also confirmed that there will not be any day-night Test played between India and New Zealand, instead, the pink ball will be tested in the Duleep Trophy.

"The New Zealand tour of India will be day matches. For now, pink ball will be used only for the Duleep Trophy which will be a day-and-night affair," Anurag Thakur said.
