South African batsman David Miller revealed that according to him the current Kings XI Punjab squad represented the franchise’s best chance to lift the Indian Premier League trophy. Miller has further praised teammates KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Yuvraj Singh and R Ashwin as well for teaching him a lot.

South African batsman David Miller, who has struggled for game time this year in the IPL, has backed his teammates to go all the way and lift the trophy for the first time in their history. The last time KXIP were in the finals, in 2014, they ended up losing to Kolkata Knight Riders despite batsman Wriddhiman Saha's brilliant century in the final.
“It’s been amazing. Everyone’s playing really well. We have had a few outstanding performances from quite a few players. To win big competitions, you need inspired shows. Everyone has contributed on and off the field. I would say this is Kings XI’s best chance of winning the Indian Premier League,” Miller told Hindustantimes in an interview.
Miller further went on to lavish praise on his KXIP teammates who have put up an impressive performance on the pitch since the first day of the tournament. The opening pair of KL Rahul and Chris Gayle have particularly impressed with the former recording his highest score in the IPL of 84* in last night's win over Rajasthan Royals.
