The sporting arena have often witnessed some extraordinary moments in the cricket field and Will Sutherland seems to have done something similar. The Renegades all-rounder put on a show in Sydney with a one-handed screamer in the Big Bash League affair against the Sydney Thunder.

Winning the toss and choosing to field first, the Renegades got an early wicket despite David Warner’s masterful knock under difficult circumstances. Following a below-par mandatory powerplay, Warner and the middle-order found it difficult to get going in the center. While the Aussie veteran managed to adapt with time, the rest faltered with Sutherland’s screamer grabbing eyeballs to dismiss Sam Billings.

On the fifth ball of the tenth over, Kane Richardson came over the wicket and bowled a low full-toss at the leg stump. Billings mistimed a whip towards the right of mid on region where Sutherland was fielding. The tall all-rounder quickly trotted back and dived to his right to pull off a stunner. He grasped the white rock midway in the air and managed to safely vouchsafe it despite thudding with the ground.

Screamer Alert!
