Being confident is crucial in the game of cricket, but sometimes even the best decisions can backfire. This was evident in the match involving Kagiso Rabada, where his assured decision to go for what seemed like an easy catch, unfortunately, resulted in a miss, giving a lifeline to Aasif Sheikh.

‌Nepal had a great day on the field as the bowling-friendly track, favoured their bowlers. Conversely, South Africa struggled with the bat failing to produce any substantial scores except for Reeza Hendricks' 43 off 49 deliveries. Dipender Singh Airee claimed three wickets while Kushal Bhurtel took four, limiting South Africa to a modest 115/7 in their 20 overs. Luck was not on South Africa's side during their defence either, highlighted by Kagiso Rabada's crucial dropped catch off Aasif Sheikh.

On the fifth ball of the second over, Rabada bowled a full-length delivery just outside the off-stump. Aasif attempted a lofted shot swinging his bat to send the ball high into the air. Rabada, confident of a straightforward catch, called for it early. However, as the ball descended towards him, he fumbled despite having ample time to position himself correctly. The ball struck his hand but slipped away, evoking laughter and criticism from the Twitterverse over Rabada's confident assertion leading to a costly blunder.

Oh! LOL xD xD
