‌BAN vs NEP | Twitter abuzz as fired-up Tanzim indulges Nepal captain in heated exchange after double-wicket maiden

Winning the toss and electing to field first, Nepal bowlers left the Bangladesh top-order clueless with the powerplay score reading 30/4. Eventually, the Tigers were bundled for 106 before their bowlers put up a scintillating show in the second innings with Tanzim Hasan Sakib claiming a four-for with the new ball. The slinky-actioned bowler bowled 21 dots in his four overs including two maidens but the spotlight switched to a heated exchange with Nepal Captain Rohit Paudel.

Following a couple of scalps in the third over, Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto set up an attacking field with a couple of slips for new batter, Paudel. The Nepal captain was beaten on the outside edge on the fifth delivery, followed by a soft-handed push to point on the last ball before Sakib starred down the batter, initiating a heated exchange. Paudel lost his cool and strolled down towards the bowler and both individuals exchanged words before the non-striker and Rishad Hossain separated the two. Although Sakib had the last laugh in the next over, outsmarting Paudel with a widish delivery, the war of words became the talk of the town in the Twitterverse for quite some moment.
