On the third ball of the 12th over, Siraj delivered a good-length ball on middle stump. Head, caught in an awkward stance, was beaten on the inside edge, and the ball struck his front pad. The Indians erupted in celebration, with Siraj already striding away in joyous celebration, not even looking at the umpire. He almost reached the wicketkeeper before on-field umpire Richard Kettleborough shook his head and denied the appeal. After a brief discussion, captain Jasprit Bumrah opted for a DRS review, with Siraj insisting that the ball had straightened. The replay confirmed that no bat was involved and, with the umpire’s call on the leg stump, it was ruled "not out." The moment went viral on social media, with fans having a good laugh at Siraj’s premature celebrations.
