There is nothing more satisfying for a pacer than to go through a batter’s defence and Blessing Muzarabani doubled the joy against Oman in their T20 World Cup match in Colombo. The Zimbabwe pacer had a dream start, castling skipper Jatinder Singh with his first ball in the marquee event.

ā€ŒZimbabwe skipper Sikandar Raza was instantly rewarded after opting to bowl against Oman in their T20 World Cup Group B opener in Colombo on Monday. Pacer Blessing Muzarabani had a dream start to his World Cup campaign as he struck with the first ball to send back Jatinder Singh at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground.

Starting from over the wicket, the lanky pacer was inch-perfect as he pitched the ball on a good length outside off stump before it seamed in. The Oman skipper was tentative to get on the front foot, leaving a big gap between his bat and pad.

The ball crashed into the off and middle stump to leave the batter shell-shocked, as Zimbabwe drew first blood early on. Muzarabani was pumped up as he punched his fist in jubilation after his accurate start with the ball.

Twitter was in awe as Zimbabwe’s pace spearhead gave the side an excellent start after castling Oman’s top-scorer in T20Is.

Bowled!

What a delivery!

Pitches it up, the ball swings back in sharply and crashes into the stumps! The Oman captain didn't see that coming.
