England Receive Major Boost as Ben Stokes Returns as Skipper

But the match didn't go as expected for the English team, under the captaincy of Joe Root. The team suffered a major loss, which levelled the series by 1-1. And now England has officially announced its squad for the third test, which has given them a major boost. Ben Stokes will be returning to the team as a skipper, and Gus Atkinson has also been named in the squad.
In a statement, the ECB said that Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson have received written warnings for the same. It was also revealed that Ben Stokes was not involved in the incident, and Gus Atkinson was a victim of some unprovoked attacks. However, Gus Atkinson didn't respond to those attacks which took place.
