England Receive Major Boost as Ben Stokes Returns as Skipper
Ben Stokes is now officially back for the England cricket team in the third Test. After being removed from the team following the nightclub incident, he was added to the squad for the third Test, with Gus Atkinson. Along with that, the ECB has given a statement on the same.

England had two major missings in the second game, as Gus Atkinson and Ben Stokes were ruled out of the same. Both of the players were involved in a nightclub incident, where they had a clash with a Saracens Rugby player.
But the match didn't go as expected for the English team, under the captaincy of Joe Root. The team suffered a major loss, which levelled the series by 1-1. And now England has officially announced its squad for the third test, which has given them a major boost. Ben Stokes will be returning to the team as a skipper, and Gus Atkinson has also been named in the squad.
In a statement, the ECB said that Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson have received written warnings for the same. It was also revealed that Ben Stokes was not involved in the incident, and Gus Atkinson was a victim of some unprovoked attacks. However, Gus Atkinson didn't respond to those attacks which took place.

As the New Zealand tour of England comes to an end, the third Test match will surely be interesting for both teams. England will be going against the Kiwis with their skipper, Ben Stokes, eyeing for a strong international comeback. Stokes was also a part of Durham's team in the recent County Championship game, where he went on to score 95 runs.
