Reports | Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos' future is no longer a given situation
Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos’ future on the market is no longer a given, despite the fact that Arsenal and even Tottenham are all keen on a move. The young midfielder has made a name for himself at the European U-21 Championship and that could change his situation at Real Madrid.
Real Madrid’s name will forever be synonymous with the 2019/20 summer transfer window, especially after the rather incredible sum of money that they’ve spent. While they needed the overhaul to happen last summer after a certain superstar left, the Los Blancos did nothing and instead opted to bide their time.
That hurt their league form but it proved to be a good move, as it allowed the board to understand just who they needed and where. And while the money poured out to allow for a fresh influx of new stars, it’s the players at the Bernabeu that Real Madrid have to keep an eye out for.
Especially Dani Ceballos after the young midfielder’s sensational European U-21 Championship. His performances have seen Sky Sports report that both Arsenal and Tottenham are very keen on making the move with the midfielder equally keen on leaving and Real Madrid keen on letting him go.
That stance has now changed, with Marca reporting that the Los Blancos will not make any decisions until Ceballos returns to pre-season training. It shows just how highly the club rate the 22-year-old now, and his performances at the U-21 European Championship have proven that he can flourish at a very high level. His transformation has been so great, that the Ceballos walking in now is a completely different player from the one who walked out.
