Kobbie Mainoo is not satisfied with the contract which has been offered to him by Manchester United. This also comes amidst the rumours of Chelsea being linked with his transfer in the January Transfer Window. Manchester United recently offered him a new contract, but his future with the team still remains uncertain.
Currently, Mainoo has a contract with the team till 2027, and they have also offered him an extension of one year. However, he has also been linked with a move to Chelsea over the past few weeks but Manchester United is not willing to let the youngster go.
In the previous Summer, Manchester United had given some names as not for sale, which included Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Andre Onana. But unfortunately, all of these players have not been able to give their best in the current season.
Kobbie Mainoo suffered a hamstring injury in October, which kept the midfielder out of action for eight weeks. Although he performed well in the recent match against Liverpool, which ended up in a 2-2 draw, the team could let him go to meet the Premier League profitability and sustainability goals.
