The Championship is now having a break for a week, as the FA Cup will now be taking place this weekend. Millwall have their next match taking place on Monday, where they will be going against Dagenham and Redbridge FC. On the other hand, QPR will be going against Leicester City, which is already struggling in the Premier League.

Amidst these matches, both Millwall and QPR will also be looking forward to the transfer options, as the window is also open. Romaine Esse, the forward of Millwall has gained a lot of attention from Crystal Palace, and it has also been reported that the team has accelerated talks to get him to their side for the remainder of the season.

Dougie Freedman, the chief of Crystal Palace is said to be a fan of Romaine Esse and this transfer could further help him to strengthen the team's attack. On the other hand, Leicester City is also making full preparations for their upcoming match against QPR, set to take place this weekend.

When asked to the team's boss, Ruud van Nistelrooy in a pre-match conference, he said,“We’ll address the squad over the coming days. It’s important to keep our development going. We want to break the current run of defeats. We want to play well and gain confidence. Those are things I’m thinking about and then I’ll make decisions about selection. It’s important to take it seriously. We plan to win every game. But we have to look at the condensed schedule. The Premier League games for this club are vital.”
