Mikel Arteta's team capitalized on Liverpool's draw with Nottingham Forest, with Leandro Trossard scoring the decisive goal in the north London derby at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal had been trailing after Tottenham’s Son Heung-min scored in the 25th minute, but an own goal by Spurs’ Dominic Solanke in the 40th minute levelled the match. Trossard’s strike came four minutes later, putting Arsenal ahead.
